opinion and interpretation for henrietta lacks

This book is really interesting for me. i like the way the journalist Rebecca skloot explained about ``Henrietta lacks``. how`s a poor black tobacco farmer had aground breaking impact on modern medicine.
whose her cells taken without her knowledge in 1951, became one of the most important tools in medicine.

summary :
The author tells us, Henrietta lacks was black tobacco farmer from southern Virginia who got cancer in a age of 30 years old. A doctor took her cells without her knowledge after years her cells never died. her cells was so important because it was the first immortal cells human cells ever grown in culture. they were necessary to develop polio vaccine, cloning, gene mapping, in vitro fertilization, and more. Henrietta’s cells have been bought and sold by the billions, yet she remains virtually unknown, and her family can’t afford health insurance.
